What You Will Do During
Your First Flight
Four phases of your first training mission. You are not just a passenger; you are a student pilot.
Phase 1:
Pre-Flight Briefing.
Your instructor will walk you through the flight plan, safety protocols, and the basic principles of how the aircraft wings generate lift and how the controls affect the flight path.
Phase 2:
Aircraft Walkaround.
Precision starts on the ground. You will perform a thorough pre-flight inspection of the aircraft, checking control surfaces and engine components to ensure the aircraft is ready for the mission.
Phase 3:
Take the Controls.
Once airborne, you will take the controls. You will practice basic maneuvers like turns, climbs, and descents, feeling how the aircraft responds to your inputs in real time.
Phase 4:
Assisted Landing.
Your instructor will handle the highest workload moments while you assist, experiencing the focus and precision required to bring a professional training aircraft back to the runway.

Our Verified Reviews "I had an amazing experience with my Private Pilot License (PPL) training. The airplanes are top-notch, and the instructors are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Most of them are veteran military pilots, which makes them great people to talk to and fly with. They have DPE there, and there’s no delay on check rides! Overall it’s a fun place to learn how to fly."
"True professionals! Incredible training for military pilots or civilians from PPL all the way to ATP. M2A instructors are knowledgeable, experienced, and patient and will help you achieve your flying goals. Reasonably priced. Tightly run organization led ex fighter pilot and United Captain."
"I had a great experience at M2A while earning my multi-engine add-on rating. The entire team was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the process. It’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about student success and is constantly working to improve their training for each new group of students. The instructors were top-notch very skilled, approachable, and invested in helping me succeed. I would highly recommend M2A to anyone pursuing flight training."
