Flight Training

- 55 hours of dual instruction
- 75 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) for time building
Transition from aviator to professional. Master precision flying, complex operations, and the standards required to fly for hire in this 10-week intensive Part 141 course.
The Commercial Pilot Certificate is the definitive line between a recreational flyer and a professional aviator. This course is designed to refine your skills to the highest standard, focusing on smoothness, accuracy, and absolute command of the aircraft.
At M2A Aviation Academy, a Commercial Pilot is not just someone licensed to accept payment. It is someone who refuses to accept 'good enough.' This 10-week intensive program takes your existing foundation and sharpens it into professional-grade airmanship.
You will log substantial flight time, serving as Pilot in Command (PIC) to build experience, while mastering advanced maneuvers that demand precise energy management and situational awareness.
We view this course as a prolonged job interview. You are expected to show up prepared, study daily, and demonstrate the maturity required of a commercial operator.
Commercial training is about more than just staying within tolerances; it is about passenger comfort, systems management, and making sound aeronautical decisions under pressure.
This Part 141 Commercial Pilot ASEL course is a comprehensive package designed to take you from a private/instrument pilot to a commercial operator efficiently.
You typically don't learn how to be a professional pilot from someone who just learned to fly yesterday. At M2A, our senior instructors have centuries of collective experience in Parts 91, 121, 125, and 135 operations.
We teach you the 'why' behind the 'how,' preparing you not just to pass a checkride, but to survive and thrive in the commercial aviation industry.
We hold a 12-year zero-cancellation record for checkrides because we do not send students who aren't ready. When you fly with M2A, you fly with a reputation for excellence.
Note:
This course is not for students who have not yet achieved their Private Pilot Certificate.
Next Steps
Earning your Commercial Certificate is the key that unlocks the door to a career. While this course focuses on the ASEL rating, M2A offers clear pathways for continued progression.
* Employment and advanced rating scholarships are performance-based and not guaranteed.
The Commercial course is fast-paced. It combines time-building with rigorous maneuver training to ensure you meet the higher standards of the Commercial Practical Test Standards (ACS).

M2A Aviation Academy has the aircraft, the instructors, and the roadmap to get you there in 10 weeks.
While you can technically hold a Commercial certificate without an Instrument rating, it is highly restricted (no passengers for hire at night or on cross-countries greater than 50nm). For any career path, the Instrument rating is effectively mandatory. We strongly recommend completing it before this course.
Not yet. You will have a Commercial Certificate, but airlines require 1,500 hours (ATP). Most pilots proceed to earn their CFI ratings to work as instructors and build the remaining flight time.
No. Housing and pilot kits are included in the full Professional Pilot Track but are not included in a la carte Part 141 courses. We can assist with local recommendations.
You will train in our high-quality, technologically advanced single-engine fleet, maintained by our in-house maintenance team.
