No prior experience is necessary. Our program is designed to take you from your very first flight all the way to becoming a flight instructor.
After completing your training through Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), the most common and effective way to build the required 1500 hours is by working as a paid flight instructor, which you can often do right here at M2A Aviation Academy.
The initial training from zero experience to certified flight instructor typically takes 8 to 12 months in a full-time structured program. Building the remaining hours to reach 1500 typically takes an additional 12 to 18 months of working as an instructor.
